Holy Tornado

To see the soul of your comrade listen carefully to his music.

I have heard of the Vietnam Wall over the years, and saw pictures of it, but there is no way we can imagine something like this. We need to stand before it to actually realize the enormity of it all.
To take a quick glance, they are just names. When you let your heart see, they are some mother's son, some father's pride. Each one precious.
Many flowers and small personal items were left by family & friends. Flags, flowers and such. One had a Baby Ruth Candy bar laying among the flowers. A way of reaching out across the years and beyond death to say I haven't forgotten you. I will always love you.

This elderly Gent in a wheelchair, came from a resthome to pay his respects. He was not well, and seemed barely able to sit in the chair, but as they neared the flag, he raised up his head, and the love in his eyes as he honored the flag would have melted your heart.
We have a memorial park here, with large markers, naming the fallen Military people from the wars.
This man was oblivious to anyone as he knelt before the Vietnam memorial. His heart was in a different place. My heart cried for him.
