Patty and I bought a bunch of American flags and she passed them out as we waited on the overpass for the 2,000 member motorcycle motorcade on I-5 which came to town with the Vietnam Wall. This man held two large flag's during the entire time. I kept my camera very busy! The overpass we were on, as well as all the others in town, were loaded with people waving their flags. Cars and trucks honked, yelled and waved their support from the street behind us as well as the highway. The city closed all of the on-ramps in town so the motorcade would not be disturbed.
When they crested the hill, led by the state patrol, also on motorcycles people were screaming, crying, shouting and frantically waving all those flags. It was an awesome thing to see and hear. The motorcycles just kept coming and coming. Everyone needs to be involved in something like this to rejuvinate their patriotic cells!
This gentleman was crying when we arrived at the overpass and continued to do so the entire time. There is healing in things of this sort where people care enough to gather and SHOW their love and support. Especially in the Vietnam situation where they were treated so horrible. Any way we can support our military has my vote.

Over 2000 years ago, one man was willing to lay down His life so that all the people of the world could have eternal life. He was perfect and holy.
I love and rever this man Jesus.

There are thousands in our world who have also been Willing to lay down their life so we can live in a free country.
They are the Military of the United States Of America.
